• Total Production: total actual pieces produced (conforming and nonconforming)

• Good pieces: total compliant pieces produced

• Scrap: total nonconforming pieces produced

• Production speed: actual production speed (measured in pieces per minute)

• Ideal speed: plate speed of a given program (measured in pieces per minute)

• Planned time: planned productive time through the use of the "Calendar" form

• Ideal production: a KPI that indicates how much the machine/line can produce under maximum conditions and calculated by multiplying the ideal speed by the planned production time

• Stops/Breakdowns/Failures: total number of forced shutdowns that have occurred
